Operating the 381-2000 Pak Pump Model

The 381-2000 Pak Pump model is equipped with 3/8" BSP female ports. When fitting 3/8" BSP fittings to the pump head, it is essential to apply an appropriate thread sealant and torque no more than 5Nm. It's important to ensure that the hose is of sufficient length and free from kinking to reduce stress on the fittings, ports, and pump.

Instructions for Connecting the Pump

To operate the pump, you need a 12 Volt DC power supply. Simply connect the red wire to the positive terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal. To ensure the pump's safety, be sure to install a 10 Amp fuse to the positive line of the wiring loom.

Guidelines for Hose Installation and Pump Maintenance

If you're struggling to fit the hose over the tail, try submerging the hose end in hot water. This will soften the hose and make it easier to slide over the hose barb.
To avoid contaminants entering the pump, we recommend installing a 50 mesh foot filter.
If you experience rapid cycling of the pump (i.e. it turns on and off repeatedly), it may be necessary to adjust the spray nozzle(s) or install a pressure regulator.
