Silvan / Comet APS121 High Pressure Diaphragm Pump – Orchard, Vineyard & Pest Control
The Silvan / Comet APS121 is a heavy-duty, high-pressure diaphragm pump built for demanding commercial spraying applications — including orchard and vineyard air-blast spraying, broadacre pest control, and professional weed management. Originally fitted to the Silvan Oktopus 2000L air-assist trailed sprayer, the APS121 is trusted by spray contractors and agronomists across Australia for its reliability and sustained output under load.
Featuring a 4-piston, semi-hydraulic, four-diaphragm design with an anodized aluminium crankcase, the APS121 delivers up to 50 bar (725 PSI) and a rated flow of 120 L/min at a maximum shaft speed of 550 RPM. The Z6 spline input and output shafts allow direct PTO connection and simultaneous drive of ancillary equipment such as a blower fan — ideal for air-assist orchard and vineyard rigs.
The APS121 is self-priming, dry-run safe, and compatible with a wide range of agricultural chemicals including liquid fertilisers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and suspension concentrates — making it equally at home in a vineyard spray program or a commercial pest control fleet.
