The round plug/transmitter uses Service brakes circuit (electric brakes) for brake light indication (NOT Australian Standard) Refer to round plug image pin 5.

Flat transmitter

The flat plug/transmitter uses Stop lights circuit (Brake pedal) for brake light indication (Australian Standard). Refer to Flat plug image pin 6.
